Hard Light Vector

Through out the development of Hard Light Vector I worked on several aspects of the game. Here I wanted to share one survey that we ran later in the games development. For this I reached out to our player base and gathered data on their experience. We regularly had playtesters check out our game, these were generally thinkalouds or observational studies, but I wanted to share with you all a survey that we conducted shortly after the game’s release. We have used this to update the game in later patches and it was been a great way for us to priorities features, and what needs work.

Hard Light Vector Survey Analysis

For this I reached out to players who had played our game to gather their thoughts. This included info about what they found confusing, difficult, or wanted more of. We used this info to help plan what we wanted to do going forward. This has lead to us look into an easy mode, adding leader boards, and adding several small levels to grant different experiences.
